Guest Review from Kent March, 2007 We loved the room we had ( Swan ) and the quality of the fittings, bed, linen etc. We were bowled over by the overall quality of the bar area, lounge, log fires and dining area's. The service was impeccable, seamless and friendly. Outstanding. The food was excellent as was the choice of wines on the list and we very much enjoyed what we chose. We will be recommending the westleton crown to ALL our friends and look forward to a return visit as soon as is practical. |

Suffolk Magazine - Take a Break January, 2007 Goosedown duvets smother the beds plus Egyptian cotton linen. Four poster beds and beautiful traditional furniture are available in some rooms, although more contemporary choices are available. The restaurant has a double rosette and comes highly recommended. |

Guest Review January, 2008 We were very pleased with this hotel, the room was warm and welcoming and we really appreciated the little touches such as home-made biscuits, cafetiere and exclusive toiletries. Dinner was excellent with good quality, local ingredients and fantastic old fashioned puddings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. |

Suffolk Magazine - Food & Drink January, 2006 For the purposes of the photographs the Chef rustled up crispy confit of duck which was succulent and full of flavour, served with a crisp bean sprout and cos lettuce salad and sesame seed dressing. This last trio of apple desserts is an imaginative seasonal variation on the chocolate lovers' platter and works really well. The chances are you'll want to linger a while first though, and enjoy the rustic charm of this traditional coaching inn. |

Community News (LEISTON, SAXMUNDHAM,ALDEBURGH & DISTRICT) August, 2005 One of England's Oldest Coaching Inns. Now in the safe hands of Agellus Hotels, a small hotel group, only subtle changes have been required to justify its place as one of the leading wining and dining venues in the area. Two AA rosettes are virtually unheard of locally so expect to find something special. |

Bella August, 2005 It looks like an historic coaching inn, but The Westleton Crown, in the quiet village of Westleton, has become a smart modern restaurant offering one of the area's best dining experiences. The finest ingredients are cooked with flair and skill. |

Guest Review June, 2008 My fiancé and I had a fantastic weekend at the Westleton Crown - lovely room with a great bathroom, wonderful view of the local church and a really comfy bed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff - they were really friendly and polite and we had excellent service on both days. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and I would really recommend it - delicious, well prepared, seasonal food. The fish dishes including a superb scallop starter were a highlight. |

Guest Review June, 2008 We were made welcome despite the additional canine companion and arrangements were made for us to dine in the bar as opposed to the restaurant. The food was first rate with absolutely no complaint. The service was attentive without being overbearing. |

Guest Review May, 2008 My wife and I had never travelled to Suffolk and were recommended The Crown by a friend. We took ourselves and our dog for a long week-end (Friday - Monday) and enjoyed an extremely pleasant and rewarding week-end. From the time we arrived until the time of departure we experienced the courtesies of a warm, friendly and highly professional staff. Our room was beautifully appointed, well furnished and extremely comfortable. The food was excellent and despite prior considerations to eat elsewhere we enjoyed Dinner every evening at The Crown. I have no reservations in recommending this establishment. |

Guest Review March, 2008 We recently stayed for two nights at the Westleton crown, and could not fault the hotel or service throughout our stay. Room was very good value, and all facilities were excellent - the dining was so good, we stayed in both nights for our meal! Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to others. |
